CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1968 Volkswagen (All Models), we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The paint code is normally located in the back compartment panel in the trunk. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1968 Volkswagen (All Models) is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Jim, owner of a 1968 Volkswagen from Jacksonville, Fl

Automotive Touchup is the best. I called, gave them the info they needed and within three days I had my paint and everything is good. Again, these people are as good as their word. Jim Couch-Jacksonville, Fl. The paint was for a touch up on a 1968 VW custom.

Christina Smith, owner of a 2011 Volkswagen GTI from Boynton Beach, FL

I used the paint to color match my side marker lights. The paint looks identical to the OEM paint. I am very pleased and plan to paint some other areas too.

John F, owner of a 2011 Volkswagen Jetta from Tyler, TX

My wife backed into a small post that left a small impression and took some of the paint off. I took it to the VW paint shop for an estimate and it was $646.00. I quickly decided I could get some touchup paint and fix it myself. That is where your company came in. I found your company online and ordered what I needed, it was simple and easy and very inexpensive. You can still see the small dent, but it is less noticeable. The paint was a perfect match.
