To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1978 Pontiac (All Models), we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. I bought an aerosol of Pontiac's famous Verdoro Green, only because i had three cars to paint in this shade. Well, the color is a dead ringer, the metallic is just right, and the fan spray was super. I painted one car so far, using the AutomotiveTouchup basecoat and an enamel clearcoat that I use on my models. Plenty of paint leftover for my other two. Highly recommended.
