CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1991 Lexus (All Models), we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code can be located in the driver side door jamb. The code will have a C/TR in front of it. A typical code will look like C/TR: 1D4/FH13, and 1D4 would be the color code in this example. Click here for Lexus paint code location and paint code image sample.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1991 Lexus (All Models) is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Kerry, owner of a 1992 Lexus ES300 from Coggon Iowa

Have just ordered more paint to finish the job on my 1992 Lexus. Had recieved my first can to check that I had the right code. Ta-da- this is what this car looked like 21 years ago. She is a low mileage great shape car, except for the bumpers. Now she's gonna look spanking brand new. I am greatful to have found you as it has been tedious to get this original color. Spot-on as they say and it arrived much sooner than I anticipated. Next project? My Dodge van. I'll be back.

George Switzer, owner of a 2008 Lexus IS250 from Sarasota

Perfect!... Sprayed out like glass on the satellite antennae of my Lexus IS250 in Starfire Pearl. A cat chewed on the antennae, so I removed it, and used your multi-step process for refinishing the Pearl. It looks amazing. Better than the factory job. Thank you. :)

Carol W, owner of a 2008 Lexus ES350 from Roselle, NJ

Your touch up paint was a perfect match. I no longer get upset when I see the damage that someone did in the diner's parking lot. I used the touch up paint to cover all the scratches that a bumper from another car made. It covered up the scratches that could not be buffed out, and like I said the color was a perfect match.
