CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1960 Ford (All Models), we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code can be located in the driver side door jamb. Click here for the Ford paint code location chart and paint code image example.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1960 Ford (All Models) is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Dale F, owner of a 1957 Ford from Perrysburg, NY

I had a couple of major paint flakes come off the trunk of my 1957 Ford Thunderbird. Although the car is red in color, I knew the original factory color was white. I took a guess and ordered touchup paint for the 1957 Ford color Fiesta Red. I received the paint but it was a little too orange in tint. Since Fiesta Red was an early Ford color, I thought I would try again with a long used Ford color (of later years) Rangoon Red. Well, I nailed it and the Rangoon Red paint was a perfect match. The color match exceeded my expectations and saved me qute a bit from what a shop would have charged to computer match the paint. I put the almost new bottle of Fiesta Red on eBay and recovered some of my loss on my original color guess. All in all, a success story for an amateur who knows nothing about paint. Thank you Automotive Touchup!

Cliff W, owner of a 1962 Ford from Pasadena, MD

Perfect color match, great customer service and follow up from Anita Fuchs.

Bennie P, owner of a 1963 Ford from Sanford, NC

Both colors for my 1999 F250 SD and 1963 1/2 Ford will get the job done. I will try the spray touch up for my 1963 1/2 Ford later this spring. Bennie Pokemire
