CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1962 Dodge (All Models), we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. 2007 and newer Dodge models usually have the paint code in the door jamb. Most paint codes are three digits long and start with a P or Q and contains letters and/or numbers. Click here for more Dodge paint code locations and paint code images.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1962 Dodge (All Models) is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Roy G, owner of a 2004 Dodge Caravan from Charleston, SC

I have purchased 4 Aerosol cans of paint at different times for my car and every one of them matches perfectly. All of my friends cannot see any difference between the factory paint and the auto touch up paint. GREAT COMPANY.

Teresa C, owner of a 2010 Dodge Caliber from Galloway, NJ

I am pleased with the product and it matches my car. Thank You.

Rob, owner of a 2010 Dodge Challenger from East Millcreek, Utah

Hi. I just got done using your touch up and clear coat and thought I'd let it speak for itself. http://www.challengertalk.com/forums/f5/factory-paint-rattle-can-95460/ My entry on this thread is post 10, I'm Challenged Grampa. The replies surely speak for themselves. In fact I think you've already gotten one order and wouldn't be surprised when you get more. Honestly, the only issue I had at all was with the adhesion promoter but wouldn't really be surprised if I wasn't using it incorrectly, but I couldn't get it to lay smooth, so I 320'd the piece down and just went with the paint. Thanks again, will send you the next order when it comes up.
