CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1964 Chevrolet (All Models), we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Click here for Chevy paint code location chart and paint code label examples.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1964 Chevrolet (All Models) is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

James W, owner of a 1965 Chevrolet Corvette from Omaha, NE

I have been searching for a auto based touch up with correct colors to paint my scale car and truck models with. I have never been really happy with the other brands. I used your paint in the last week on my Corvette project and all I can say is you have me as a customer from now on.

Elated Customer, owner of a 1965 Chevrolet

I have never had a company work so hard to satisfy my paint needs. Automotive touchup went above and beyond to match my paint on my 65 Chevelle. They will get any business I have in the future and I will recommend them to my car club members. They were polite, professional and above all patient. You would serve yourself well to use this company. Thank you Automotive Touchup!

Donald S, owner of a 1965 Chevrolet from Antioch, IL
