CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1982 Buick (All Models), we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1982 Buick (All Models) is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Jerry Shmidt, owner of a 1972 Buick from Lakeland

I had a hood mounted tachometer to install on my 72 Buick GS. My problem was I really did not want to have it professionally painted. Using your rattle cans was a dead on match with the factory paint.. You can't tell the difference.

Bob G, owner of a 1991 Buick from The Villages, FL

Great product, color matched the car perfect. Glad I found you on the web. Thanks

Martin G, owner of a 1996 Buick Regal from Clinton, MS

I had been trying to find the color code for my 1996 Buick Regal for almost two years. I tried to find the code from service plate in the trunk. It did not have the code. I even tried to match the paint from looking at the paint and buying touch up paint in the store. I made a mess and it looked worse than when I started. I had written other touch up paint sites with no luck. I essentially gave up on it. I had some paint on the car from when my son rubbed up against the car with paint on his pants. It looked awful. I then wrote your company. I got a prompt reply from your representative, Skip Magas. He asked for some more information. When I sent it to him, he promptly sent me the code I had been desperate to find all this time. I ordered this paint. The paint was magic. I painted over all the old paint stains and many of the scrapes the car had accumulated over the years. It was a perfect match. I would like to thank you especially Mr. Magas for taking the time and caring enough to help me out in my time of need.
