CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1971 Buick (All Models), we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1971 Buick (All Models) is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Jerry Shmidt, owner of a 1972 Buick from Lakeland

I had a hood mounted tachometer to install on my 72 Buick GS. My problem was I really did not want to have it professionally painted. Using your rattle cans was a dead on match with the factory paint.. You can't tell the difference.

Donald S, owner of a 2006 Buick Lacrosse from Lake Worth, FL

Perfect match, much better than the touchup I purchased from the dealer. Large can size provided plenty of coverage. Now I will try replacing a fender on my suv.

K V B, owner of a 2006 Buick Lucerne from Ewing, IL

I am more than pleased with the touch-up paint, as well as the clear coat that I ordered with it. The area that I had to cover was about 2 inches in diameter and most would say that it would need to be spray painted, and by a professional. I have a red 2006 Lucerne Buick and I am very particular about the looks of it; however, I could not justify taking it to a body shop because of the $500.00 deducible that would be required to get my bumper removed and refinished. If you did not know that I had an accident, you would not be able to find the area that I refinished. I am totally pleased with the products.
