CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1960 Volkswagen (All Models), we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The paint code is normally located in the back compartment panel in the trunk. Click here for Volkswagen paint code location diagrams and label examples.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1960 Volkswagen (All Models) is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Joseph H, owner of a 2003 Volkswagen Jetta from Pataskala, OH

I have purchased product for 5 different cars (I have 3 teenage drivers) and couldn't be happier with the color match and especially the clear coat. I have tried using the (competitor D*********) and it is junk, especially compared to your products.

Yosef C, owner of a 2003 Volkswagen Jetta from Chicago, IL

Ordered my paint cans and received in promised condition and promised delivery date. Paint was also exact match of my car's paint as promised. Will definitely use in the future, including in about 5 minutes from now when I place another order.

Delighted Customer, owner of a 2008 Volkswagen New Beetle from San Antonio

Clearcoat was peeling on 2008 VW. Sanded and clearcoated car. Very happy with product. Have also bought several different colors and always satisfied with match.
