CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1999 Toyota RAV4, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code can be located in the driver side door jamb. The code will have a C/TR in front of it. A typical code will look like C/TR: 1D4/FH13, and 1D4 would be the color code in this example. Click here for Toyota paint code location diagrams and label examples.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1999 Toyota RAV4 is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Jeff Nance, owner of a 2000 Toyota Tundra from Lakeland, Florida

I painted my Tundra in my garage using your Basecoat (3K4 Sun Fire Pearl) and High Gloss Clearcoat following the step by step instructions in the videos posted on your site. One year later and the finish looks like it is fresh from a professional paint shop.People approach me constantly and ask who matched the color and did the work. More people than not think I'm fibbing, no, they think I'm down-right lying when I tell them where I ordered the paint and prep materials and where I did the work. I love it!Anyone reading this: If you haven't tried Automotive Touchup's products, especially their matched custom colors, you are nuts if you don't!Thanks Automotive Touchup for providing a super quality product backed by super quality support and people! You have a lifer in this man. J.D.

Randy, owner of a 2000 Toyota MR2 Spyder from Chickasaw, AL

Well first off I would to say I am very pleased with the results of my Project using your paint products. I could not Find my Toyota Spyders Paint code at any Autoparts store locally (Liquid Liquid silver 1DO). I recently purchased a ground effects kit for it and decided to door the job myself having alot of experience using spray paint. The only problem I ever had was finding a clear coat that looked like the stuff the body shops use. Well may I say I have found it in your 2k clear coat. I'm in for around $130 for the Paint and clear just on the Front spoiler and rear deack spoiler but I am still coming out much cheaper than my friend paid a body shop ($700) and he did all the prep work. I can't wait till it warms up so I can Finish the Sides and rear bumper spoiler. Shipping could be a lil faster but otherwise great to deal with. Make sure you use the proper mask with organic vapor filter and follow the directions for it to the letter, this stuff contains some nasty chems that will know you on your tail. Watch their vids and learn something new and do it yourself!
