CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1987 Subaru (All Models), we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. Click here for Subaru paint code location diagrams and label examples.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1987 Subaru (All Models) is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Greg from Kentucky, owner of a 1987 Subaru from Rineyville, Kentucky

If you want Superior paint from a Superior company, then order from these guys. I have ordered twice before, once for my 1987 Subaru and then for my 2002 Envoy. I am getting ready to order some touch up paint for my 2012 Chrysler 300 because I know the paint will match perfectly as it has twice before. Thank you for providing great customer service.

Jerry E, owner of a 2010 Subaru Impreza from Lakeland, FL

I'm very, very satisfied with my touch up paint in spray form for my 2010 silver WRX wagon. Plus I dont normally write reviews but these guys are solid... I just didn't think it would turn out as good as it did! Thanks again. JE

Recent Customer, owner of a 2010 Subaru Forester from Omaha, NE

The aerosol paint was a perfect match to my car's pearl finish. Masked off adjoining panels, followed the directions, and am so very pleased with the product and results! The aerosol clear coat is awesome. Glad I found you. Will definitely recommend.
