CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2013 Smart Roadster, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2013 Smart Roadster is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Greg H, owner of a 2003 Chevrolet Tracker from Fairbury, NE

My personal Tracker ZR-2 was hit by a deer... minor damage to hood, fender, door,... we did the body work and sprayed it with your 12 oz spray cans WA858J Dark Metallic Green and your clear coat and it turned out great... we have an experienced body man in our shop and he's damn good and was really impressed that spray cans would do such a great job... can't tell where the new leaves off and the old begins... you have a great product.... Robert E, owner of a 2005 Chevrolet Uplander from Mechanicsville, VA

A baseball found my front fender and left a nasty dent. The local body shop asked $1450 to repair the dent and refinish the fender. With a son in college I didn't want to pay that amount for what seems to be a fairly simple repair. I hammered out the dent and repaired it with auto body filler. I ordered the base coat and clear coat from Automotive Touchup. The color is an excellent match and I was very pleased at how well the clear coat flowed out and with the deep gloss finish. The optional spray can handle was very comfortable and made control of the spray can much easier. I have painted with a spray gun and compressor before, but the finish with the spray can base coat and clear coat was just as satisfactory.
