CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1993 Porsche (All Models), we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. Click here for Porsche paint code location diagrams and label examples.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1993 Porsche (All Models) is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Pablo A, owner of a 2009 Porsche Cayenne from Chula Vista, CA

Great color match, both for my Porsche Cayenne and my Chevy Camaro. Your online videos helped me a lot to do the job. Excellent service, packing and delivering. I will order again from you in the future. Just one suggestion... One video about removing/buffing the grainy paint finish will be greatly appreciated. I am a novice at this and learning from you. Thank you!

Richard H, owner of a 1988 Porsche from Cleveland, OH

I've used Automotive Touchup spray paints for most of my cars. The match has always been perfect even for rare colors for 20 and 30 year old cars. One of the first things I do when I get something else for my garage is to purchase a spray can of touchup paint because sooner or later I'll need it.

James C, owner of a 1983 Porsche 911 Carrera from Chicago, IL

I ordered a 2 oz bottle of touch up paint for my Grand Prix White 1983 Porsche 911. I'm amazed how well the paint matched my 30 year old car. The paint applied very smoothly (make sure not to over dip the brush, small dabs to avoid runs) and looks great. I didn't purchase clear coat since I was covering mostly small parking lot dings. My car was a twenty footer (looking good at 20 foot distance) now it's a five footer, hugh improvement for a $17.00 investment. I was unsure of which color white my car was but the staff at automotive touchup was very helpful in making sure I had the correct color. I thought the car was Alpine white but the CS person did some research and discovered it was actually Grand Prix white. Thanks for taking the time to help me get it right.
