CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1996 Pontiac Grand Prix, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1996 Pontiac Grand Prix is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Joseph M, owner of a 1997 Pontiac Grand Am from San Antonio, TX

Paint was a perfect match and would definitely recommend you in the future.

Ronald R, owner of a 1996 Pontiac Bonneville from Melbourne, FL

Thanks for the great match! Can't even tell where the old paint meets the new paint. Fantastic job! Only thing I should have bought also was the clear coat. I think it would have been better than store bought.
