CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1969 Pontiac (All Models), we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1969 Pontiac (All Models) is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Milton C, owner of a 1969 Pontiac from Kingston, NY

Good products, great paint match, appreciate all the help.

Jim F, owner of a 1969 Pontiac from Nottingham, MD

I bought this Expresso Brown metallic spary paint and clear to paint my hood tach on my 69' GTO. The color match was great and the products went on nice and smooth with a glossy finish. It looks professionally painted. The basecoat is a urethane and the clear is an acrylic lacquer. Both spray cans have a nice tip that lays the product on perfectly. Highly recommend this company!

Rich, owner of a 1969 Pontiac from Pontiac, MI

Amazing! I ordered some touchup paint for my 1969 Firebird recently and it is a perfect match! I should mention that the car received a repaint about 5 years ago, so I didn't have to worry about paint fade. Thanks for a great product. Rich from Pontiac MI
