CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1959 Pontiac (All Models), we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1959 Pontiac (All Models) is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Greg B, owner of a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix from Cincinnati, OH

As a novice when it comes to body repair, I decided to take on some rocker panel rust on my sons 2001 vehicle. I figured I couldn't do too much damage since, for the most part, what I was working with would not be visible, other than that portion that extends up the side of the car, meeting time bottom of the door. When I was finished, I couldn't believe I'd performed the work I was looking at. The paint match was perfect and the paint went on as if I was using a professional spray gun, no running at all. I'm a very pleased customer and will use AutomotiveTouchup paint and services in the future as the needs arise.

Mike W, owner of a 2001 Pontiac Bonneville from Lansing, MI

Ordering the exact color was very easy. I did some touchup on my Bonneville a couplr of years ago but was not able to find the exact color I needed. I saw the ad for Automotive touchup and decided to try it. I was surprised to see every color available for the Bonneville. I then checked the colors for my other 2 vehicles and found them as well. I was impressed by the completeness of the inventory as well as the ease in ordering. I highly recommend their producrs.

Brian L, owner of a 2002 Pontiac Sunfire from Buffalo, NY

Bought my daughter her first car a 2002 Pontiac Sunfire. This car now being 11 years old there was some surface rust just starting. My daughter and I just took it in to see what it would cost to get rid of the surface rust. We were told approx. $1,100. My neighbor's car a 2012 Dodge Avenger was hit in a parking lot and the paint was scraped off. She took her car in for an estimate and was told $800, which she would have to pay the first $500 as her deductible. I found this site and was amazed, this site even told me where to find the paint codes. After I found the codes for both cars, I then checked into what I would need to repair both cars. My total bill for everything I needed was $44.07. It took about 10 day to be delivered, but it was understandable due to the spray cans. However, to make a long story short I did both cars in one weekend. My neighbor said she can't even find where the damage was done. As for my daughter's car, it looks almost as good as the day it was made. Automotive touch up will be the only place I get auto paint from, colors were a perfect match. In fact I am getting ready to purchase more paint. Some touch up for my 2012 HHR, but mainly some spray cans, and clear coat for my wife's 1994 Geo Prizm.
