CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1999 Mg ZR, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step.

Did you choose the wrong vehicle model?

Did you choose the wrong model? How about the 1999 Mg F, TF, Z-CAR, ZS, ZT, or ZT-T?  If you're still not sure, take a look at our All 1999 Mg Models page.  Or, just go to our page dedicated to Mg Touch Up Paint

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1999 Mg ZR is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Doug M, owner of a 2007 Kia Motors Sedona from Shelburne Falls, MA

I just wanted to write and let you know your product worked great. I had a huge, long scratch in my bottom quarter panel and by following the directions on your site I was able to repaint and clearcoat it and it looks great - the color matched perfectly... Thanks again - you guys saved me a lot of money by not having to take my vehicle to a body shop.

Ecstatic Customer, owner of a 2010 Dodge Ram Pickup

I have a 2010 Dodge Ram Sport that I dinged the front bumper a week after I bought it. I took it to several different body shops and they all wanted about 300 to fix it. I ordered the aerosol spray paint and clear coat a week ago. I sanded the bumper down with 600 grit and taped all my grill off. I put 4 coats of base on and then put 4 coats of clear on it. It turned out Awesome! It looks just like it did from the factory. The only part I will warn you of if you get metallic flake it takes a few times so get the metal flake to come out. On the 3rd coat I could see the metal. It was a perfect match.
