CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1966 Mercedes-Benz (All Models), we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The code on your identificaiton sticker will normally have many numbers in it with no prefix identifying a number as a paint code. The paint code will either be three or four digits. Some times the code will have a prefix of DB but this is not consistant. Click here for Mercedes Benz examples.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1966 Mercedes-Benz (All Models) is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Juan Z, owner of a 2010 Mercedes-Benz E Class from Lafayette, LA

Great match and sure beats the expense of a professional job. Thanks for a great product.

Sanjay P, owner of a 2011 Mercedes-Benz E Class from Mount Laurel, NJ

Great product! It matches well. I have bought factory touch up paint before for BMW and Audi cars. Their products were overpriced and a terrible match.

Gary, owner of a 2011 Mercedes-Benz E Class from Lone Star State

Your How-To videos gave me the confidence to try the bumper repair. I ordered everything needed as shown on the video...from sand paper and masking tape to Clearcoat. It was a real time saver to have all the proper quality items on hand in one box. The color match and results are very nice. I feel good about it. All for just $70 bucks and a few hours of time. I have plenty of product left over to use the next time a curb jumps up and bites the lower bumper.
