I did them all in one day and did use a 1500 sand sheet to smooth out the rough spots after each coat. I was amazed that you could do all this with just waiting minutes between coats. I put 2 coats of primer in several bad spots and used 3 coats of paint and 3 clear coats. I even had 2 scratches which I had to put several coats of paint on to fill them.
