CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2012 Hyundai Sportage, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. Click here for the Hyundai paint code location chart.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2012 Hyundai Sportage is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Joe D, owner of a 2011 Hyundai Sonata from South Setauket, NY

Amazing! I never did any kind of body work before, but I'm pretty handy and a DIY type of guy. I was rear ended and had 2 puncture holes on the bumper and a dent on the trunk. I checked out the videos online for some guidance and tips and I took my time. First I filled the dents in with body filler and then, sanded, primed and sprayed color then clear. I can't believe the results, and this was before I even got a chance to polish! I didn't expect it to look so good and I was going to be happy if it just concealed the damage and made it less noticeable, but the damage is gone. Looks like a pro did it!

Harold H, owner of a 2011 Hyundai Genesis Coupe from O'Fallon, Mo

I was skeptical how this was going to work. I knew that the scratches and chips on the front end would no doubt run from $750.00-$1000.00 to fix the paint. I took 400 wet dry paper and sanded a very obvious spot as I went for broke. To my surprise, after 4 coats of base coat and 3 coats of clear you CAN'T tell where I did the repairs. This is good Stuff! Thank You! PS Im a real customer and this is a real testimony!
