CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2006 Honda E, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code can be located in the driver side door jamb. Click here for Honda paint code location chart and paint code image example.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2006 Honda E is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Tom P, owner of a 2007 Honda Fit from Arlington, VA

I received my can of aerosol touch up paint yesterday and I wanted to let you know that I am EXTREMELY satisfied with it. I cut stencils just slightly larger than the three small scratches on my 2007 Honda Fit, lightly sprayed through the stencil, allowed it to dry for about 18 hours, buffed it out slightly and waxed over it. The scratches have all but disappeared. The largest place was approximately 3/4" x 1" and the smallest was around 1/4" x 1". I will never use touch up paint with a brush again. Aerosol is THE ONLY WAY TO GO! Thank you for a wonderful product (I've given your site address to three friends already).

Randall M, owner of a 2007 Honda Civic from Huntersville, NC

Had rust issues with my car after 2 years in Syracuse NY. Body shop wanted to replace the entire door panel at a cost estimate of $1,500+ -- Ah, NO. Even though I am certifiably TERRIBLE at this sort of thing I took wire brush, several meshes of sand paper, and some carefully applied stokes with my power drill's brush bits to eliminate 99% of the rust and smooth the surface. CLEANED it really well. Put down 4 coats of black Rust Preventer undercoat, 4 coats of your color matched paint (spay can 12oz). Then did three coats of clear coat. This all took no more than 10 hours over two days -- and that included all the drying time. I cannot believe how well it turned out. If I get my nose 12" from the repaired area -- then YES, I can see where I did my work... but while standing up and examining the area in bright sun-light, it looks just like the rest of the car! Thank you... the color is perfect, any imperfections are the result of my limited skills!
