CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2000 Honda HR-V, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code can be located in the driver side door jamb. Click here for Honda paint code location chart and paint code image example.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2000 Honda HR-V is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Miguel Cambra, owner of a 1999 Honda Civic Coupe from Towson Maryland

Hi guys, my name is Miguel. I'm a mechanic in Timonium, Maryland. I wanted to thank you for the great work you did on my order . The price, the delivery speed, were all great, but the best part of all was the quality. The paint was an exact match! Everything worked perfectly, and for some reason the color I got was a hard color to get in a spray can, but you guys had it. I will be using Automotive touch up again in the future. I will and would recommend you to everybody! Thanks again!

Beverly A C, owner of a 1999 Honda CR-V from Lincoln, NE

Our daughter's 1999 Honda CRV was damaged in a hit and run while it was parked on the street in front of her house. Apparently, someone backing out of the driveway across the rather narrow street, hit the driver side front door and drove off. As the door latch and lock still worked fine, we decided to fill the dent and do the painting ourselves rather than spending the $1200 the body shop wanted to replace the outer door panel. The instructional videos were VERY helpful in that they explained what do do and all the supplies needed. The supplied we ordered were reasonably priced and came quickly. The color matched. My husband was even inspired to sand and paint some other areas on the car that were starting to rust through. Thank you, Automotive Touchup!
