I ordered both a base color coat and clear overcoat aerosol sprays for my vintage 1989 Honda. Not being an expert body man person, I went online and watched a tutorial on how to prepare the surface of a small minor scratch dent I had on the bumper. Using the exact grit and recommendations in preparing, and cleaning the surface prior to painting was essential. All wax and oils HAD to be thoroughly removed prior to using the product. That being said, I followed the instructions on the can EXACTLY and I am happy to report that the color match was PERFECT. I am very pleased with the results and highly recommend the products used. My only caution is that if you live in Hawaii, there was some delay due to regulations about shipping hazardous material by air, but USPS did send the product by AIR and therefore I received in good time. Telephone support was excellent also.

Forty years ago I used a stock color to custom paint my then new motorcycle. Two weeks ago I was ready to touch-up some damaged areas. Even though I had saved the original cans for all these years none of the local auto paint sellers could match the code. Sheila at Automotive Touchup found it, and the staff recreated it. I haven't finished that project yet but my previous experience with their paint for my '91 Honda Accord was very successful. The paint matched, was easy to apply, without runs, and the gloss was far better than I expected. Thank you!

I have an 89 Honda Accord, mechanically sound, that had considerable paint pealing and rusting. I literally sanded the rust spots, put on the undercoat and sprayed the new paint where needed. The hardest part was the placement of the newspapers and taping into place. That just took some patience as to not paint the windows and wheels.THE CAR LOOKS GREAT!!! In a few days I will put the clear shiny spray. Even without this last step, it looks like a different car, believe me!! I am very happy with the customer service with this company. I received the correctly ordered paint in a timely matter. ( I had ended up with three orders as I went back and ordered more of the top coat.) I am a 64 year old woman, so age and gender should not deter anyone from wanting to make their car look soooo much better. Thank you- Karen
