CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1980 Gmc Full Size Van, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1980 Gmc Full Size Van is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Kyle, owner of a 2008 GMC Sierra

Your guys have an amazing product. I own a 2008 GMC Sierra with a Dark Blue Metallic Paint Job. I wanted to paint my engine cover to match the color of the truck. So, I searched the web and found you guys. Trust me, you guys have amazing paint! The paint matched perfect and dried fast. Now I'm happy my engine cover matches the color of my truck. -Kyle

Martin L, owner of a 2010 GMC Acadia from Coldwater, MI

Great service...good price. When trying to unscrew the top...it is difficult to get it to come apart without yanking and possibly spilling the contents. Being a painter by trade, I have opened hundreds of different containers of paint...I've never had this problem before. If you calculated the price of this 2 oz. of paint by the gallon...it would be extremely expensive to spill even a drop. Color match was fine.
