CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1965 GMC (All Models), we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1965 GMC (All Models) is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Delighted Customer, owner of a 2003 GMC Envoy from Hernshaw, WV

Just wanted to let you know that we bought your product for our 2003 GMC Envoy to paint the bumper which had been damaged prior to us purchasing the vehicle used almost five years ago, we took the vehicle to have a body shop give us and estimate for the paint peeling from the rear bumper and it was approx over $500.00 dollars and the color on their estimate was gold which we knew that the vehicle was not gold in color. Our daughter told us about your company and we ordered the paint etc, and our son refinished the bumper with your product. Looks like it came out of the factory. The paint matched perfect and it looks great. You could never tell that it has all the paint peeling off the bumper. I would highly recommend your company for all of your products because it does actually work and looks like it came out of a showroom. We will be sure to use your company and products if we ever need any type of touch-up or paint. Thanks, so much the GMC looks beautiful.

Grant R, owner of a 2003 GMC Sierra from Corona, CA

The color matched great I should have sanded it more but it came. I think I need to get one more can of clear coat but all in all it is a great product.

Robert F, owner of a 2004 GMC Sierra from Delanson, NY

I just received a can of paint and clear for my 2004 gmc pickup. Wow it is great the color is perfect. I am a bodyman for 47 years, i just did not want to spend 200.00 for paint and clear just to do my rocker panels. your paint is awesome. I am so glad I found your site. Thanks again, Bob
