CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2010 Dodge Caliber, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. 2007 and newer Dodge models usually have the paint code in the door jamb. Most paint codes are three digits long and start with a P or Q and contains letters and/or numbers. Click here for more Dodge paint code locations and paint code images.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2010 Dodge Caliber is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

I am pleased with the product and it matches my car. Thank You.

Happy Customer, owner of a 2010 Dodge Ram Pickup

I have a 2010 Dodge Ram Sport that I dinged the front bumper a week after I bought it. I took it to several different body shops and they all wanted about 300 to fix it. I ordered the aerosol spray paint and clear coat a week ago. I sanded the bumper down with 600 grit and taped all my grill off. I put 4 coats of base on and then put 4 coats of clear on it. It turned out Awesome! It looks just like it did from the factory. The only part I will warn you of if you get metallic flake it takes a few times so get the metal flake to come out. On the 3rd coat I could see the metal. It was a perfect match.

Rob, owner of a 2010 Dodge Challenger from East Millcreek, Utah

Hi. I just got done using your touch up and clear coat and thought I'd let it speak for itself. http://www.challengertalk.com/forums/f5/factory-paint-rattle-can-95460/ My entry on this thread is post 10, I'm Challenged Grampa. The replies surely speak for themselves. In fact I think you've already gotten one order and wouldn't be surprised when you get more. Honestly, the only issue I had at all was with the adhesion promoter but wouldn't really be surprised if I wasn't using it incorrectly, but I couldn't get it to lay smooth, so I 320'd the piece down and just went with the paint. Thanks again, will send you the next order when it comes up.
