CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1973 Dodge Fleet, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. 2007 and newer Dodge models usually have the paint code in the door jamb. Most paint codes are three digits long and start with a P or Q and contains letters and/or numbers. Click here for more Dodge paint code locations and paint code images.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1973 Dodge Fleet is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Ecstatic Customer, owner of a 2010 Dodge Ram Pickup

I have a 2010 Dodge Ram Sport that I dinged the front bumper a week after I bought it. I took it to several different body shops and they all wanted about 300 to fix it. I ordered the aerosol spray paint and clear coat a week ago. I sanded the bumper down with 600 grit and taped all my grill off. I put 4 coats of base on and then put 4 coats of clear on it. It turned out Awesome! It looks just like it did from the factory. The only part I will warn you of if you get metallic flake it takes a few times so get the metal flake to come out. On the 3rd coat I could see the metal. It was a perfect match.

Cory, owner of a 2008 Dodge Dakota from Lexington Kentucky

In a stroke of genius, I scraped the bumper of my Dodge Dakota on my garage door leaving a nice heavy scratch. After sanding down the sratch, I had to repaint. The factory matched (Dodge PXR) paint from automotivetouchup.com was perfect. After a few applications of the factory matched paint and the gloss clear coat, I had a beautiful repair. I barely had to blend as this paint matched so well. The spray cans (I opted for the spray) had a wonderful nozzle and did not clog or overspray in 20 minutes of use. Thanks for a great product.
