CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1969 Dodge (All Models), we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. 2007 and newer Dodge models usually have the paint code in the door jamb. Most paint codes are three digits long and start with a P or Q and contains letters and/or numbers. Click here for more Dodge paint code locations and paint code images.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1969 Dodge (All Models) is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Ted H, owner of a 1969 Dodge from Palo Alto, CA

First off, I would rate the customer service commitment top notch. Anita took the time to make sure that my needs were met and all my order info was correct. The speed of which I got my paint was great and when I finally used it, the spray pattern makes it easy to lay down. The perfect paint to freshen up those Mopar engine bays for car show season. I'm pleased and would definitely use them again!

Harold Buck, owner of a 2006 Dodge Ram Pickup from Wantagh, NY

Perfect match for my 2006 Ram 1500. Red is typically hard to match, but I was really impressed. You guys got it right the first time! I will be ordering paint for my Mustang now, and telling all my friends. Thanks!!!

Cory, owner of a 2008 Dodge Dakota from Lexington Kentucky

In a stroke of genius, I scraped the bumper of my Dodge Dakota on my garage door leaving a nice heavy scratch. After sanding down the sratch, I had to repaint. The factory matched (Dodge PXR) paint from automotivetouchup.com was perfect. After a few applications of the factory matched paint and the gloss clear coat, I had a beautiful repair. I barely had to blend as this paint matched so well. The spray cans (I opted for the spray) had a wonderful nozzle and did not clog or overspray in 20 minutes of use. Thanks for a great product.
