CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1999 Daewoo Damas, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. Most Daewoo paint codes are located on either the firewall or on the radiator support bar. Click here for a Daewoo paint code location chart.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1999 Daewoo Damas is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Perfect match. I will certainly be back and recommend your products.

Francis W S, owner of a 2011 Ram Dakota from Salem, OR

Well... I bought this beautiful Pearl Dark Blue (metalic paint) 2011 Ram - Dakota crew cab pickup. The only distraction were the many white scratches. Some were just in the clear coat but probably 20 were through the color coat. My friend at an Automotive Paint Store suggested that the color would be impossible to match! He didn't even try to sell me touch up paint! A friend suggested that he had found you on the web.... so there I go and also find you! I ordered your color match and clear coat. The match was an un-believable perfect match! After using the clear coat twice and allowing plenty fo cure time... with a special rubber sanding block (I made up) and 1200 wet or dry sand paper and soapy water (using great care just to level the clear coat not to go though the clear coat and into the color coat) every trace of prior damage disappeared! Of course after sanding you have to use rubbing compound with an old cotton T-shirt (four layers flattened with no wrinkles) and another rubbing block I made up out of 1/4 x 1.00 aluminum strap I had from another project. My truck is now show room perfect!
