CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1966 Chrysler (All Models), we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. 2007 and newer Chrysler models usually have the paint code in the door jamb. Most paint codes are three digits long and start with a P or Q and contains letters and/or numbers. Click here for more Chrysler paint code locations and paint code images.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1966 Chrysler (All Models) is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Parker, owner of a 2004 Chrysler PT Cruiser from Golden, CO

My bright Inferno Red car must have been wearing an invisibility cloak as I backed out of a grocery store parking space because another driver clipped the rear passenger corner. No dent, just a little lost paint. The touch up paint I received arrived quickly and matched perfectly. It's all better now so I can stop fuming!

Linwood H, owner of a 2006 Chrysler 300 from North Port, FL

My 2006 Chrysler 330 is in fine shape except the paint wore off the door bump strips. They were body color with a 3/8 inch chrome strip along the top. Replacing was over $300, refining by body shop was $200. I painted them in my garage over a weekend with $50 worth of your paint and supplies.. I sanded and cleaned the rubber/plastic with yourcleaned, masked the area, painted with a few coats of grey primer, painted a few coats of 12 oz Aerosol Spray Paint, 2006 Chrysler 300: Satin Jade Pearl PP4, then covered with a few coars of clear coat. didn't sand any of the paint steps, it didn't need it. I think it looks great.

Edwin S, owner of a 2006 Chrysler 300 from Charleston, SC

The Satin Jade color you sent me for the 300 worked well to cover some self body work. Once the clear coat was applied and the rubbing compound used, it is a very good match to the factory paint. I have enough supplies now to fix any other minor dings in the paint.
