CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2013 Chevrolet Pickup, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2013 Chevrolet Pickup is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Johnny H, owner of a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox from Lenoir City, TN

Matched color exactly. Way to much paint though. I had a slight scratch about 4 in. long in a very unconspicus place. Needed to get some paint on it cause it was all the way through to metal. Over the years I have learned if you will touch up it tends to keep the place small enough you can live with it along time. If it goes unattended moisture and and such gets under the clear coat, and works on the metal. So I love the spray and I spray it in a plastic lid. Then use a tooth pick to apply. Then next day buff with lite rubbing compound and then car wax. It has worked for me for yrs. This paint was hard to find. It done the job for me. Just wish you would start selling a spray can about 4 in. high. I put this can in my house so it will last as long as I own car. Thanks for you prompt service.

Guilford D, owner of a 2012 Chevrolet Corvette from Winston Salem, NC

The vehicle in question is a special color mix on the 2012 Centennial Edition Corvette, thus the potential for any touch up to be even a close match was farfetched. The scratch on a front fender (lost a battle with a falling step ladder) was treated, touched up and clearcoated. I was amazed as it takes me a bit of time to find the spot and to someone who does not know the area was touched up it is practically invisible. Color match started out a bit off, however, as the paint set up it matched perfectly. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants a quality product to maintain the finish of their vehicle from the everyday small divits in the paint.
