CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2011 Chevrolet HHR, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2011 Chevrolet HHR is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Earl R, owner of a 2010 Chevrolet HHR from Grand Island, NY

I had 3 dents in the tailgate of my HHR to repair. I removed them as much as possible, then filled them in with body filler. I used your primer, car color and clearcoat to finish the job and the paint matched perfectly. Your videos were also a big help. I didn't think it was possible to blend the new paint into the existing paint, but it worked out great. I did not have to repaint the entire tailgate as I thought that I would.

Bryce B, owner of a 2010 Chevrolet Tahoe from Davis, CA

This is the 3rd time I've used Automotive Touchup. This time on a BMW Z3 that I'm restoring for my wife. It was a dated forest green color and I wanted to remove some dings/dents and update the color to a nice pearl white. Of course to have a body shop do a color change was really expensive because of the need to paint the door jambs and under the hood, trunk and engine bay. I'm a perfectionist (and don't like to spend money needlessly) so I decided to paint all the jambs myself with Automotive Touchup. It looks absolutely fabulous. The color is perfect and with the combo of the groundcoat, midcoat and clearcoat I was able to get a near factory finish. The spraying tips that come with the cans do a great job. You literally cannot tell that this car was not originally pearl white. My neighbors are all marveling and commenting that they had no idea that you could get such a nice finish out of a rattle can. Thanks guys!
