To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2002 Chevrolet Impala, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. I was really satisfied with the quality of the paint I ordered. For the price, you really can't complain. It helps to find out your specific paint code before ordering just as this site tells you. I ordered both my Jasper green colored paint as well as the clear coat in aerosol cans & was glad I ended up buying the clear coat as the finish would have been too dull for a professional look to match the rest of my car. I used it to paint my new passenger side mirror which was a plastic material & the paint still looked awesome! The only change to this site would be to include a picture of the paint color to reassure customers of the color they might buy. I know I felt a little skeptical about buying paint here at first because of that.
