CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1962 Chevrolet (All Models), we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1962 Chevrolet (All Models) is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Fred D, owner of a 1963 Chevrolet from Gig Harbor, WA

The paint is awesome and looks like a perfect match for my 63 Nova. Thanks!

Travis C, owner of a 1961 Chevrolet from Longmont, CO

After an unsightly cheap paint job on a classic 1961 chevy, bare spots and areas that were missed in the door jams and trunk edges were finially painted to a perfect match. The car looks show room condition. A perfect match.

Peter S, owner of a 1963 Chevrolet Corvette from Wallington, NJ

Thanks for the touchup paint you sent me. I ordered paint for my three cars. It matches perfectly. I can't believe I used to use [competitor] and settle for somthing close. Your paint is great. I highly recommend it to everyone. Thanks.
