CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1941 Chevrolet (All Models), we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1941 Chevrolet (All Models) is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Richard S, owner of a 2005 Chevrolet Corvette from Monmouth Junction, NJ

I just wanted to write you and tell you about your products. I purchased a body kit for my 2005 Corvette. It consists of a front splitter and side skirts. I really didn't have the money to take to a body shop to paint and decided to try it myself. I found your site on a internet search. Your two step process if amazing. I followed your instructions, took my time, and the results are first class. The color mach was perfect and the final results are hard to distinguish from a professionally painted job. Thank you so much, you saved me a lot of money. If you would like pictures of the final results I would be happy to sumnit. Thanks again

Steve, owner of a 1955 Chevrolet from Pennsylvania

I used your paint on my dashboard and other inside trim pieces. It is beautiful and so easy to spray. I used the paint sprayer that attaches to the aerosol can and it worked great. I have used other paint and no way does it come close to your products. The base coat went on just like using a compressor attached to a spray gun. The clearcoat was also excellent. A beautiful glossy shine. My next project is painting the firewall. I will then be painting the whole car using your auto paint for spray guns. I will pass this information to the forum that I suscribe to. Thank you Steve

Andrew O, owner of a 2008 Chevrolet Impala from Kingston, MA

I've used other brands and not had the good experience I did with your products. The color match was right on the money (GM WA994L) and the clearcoat brought out the shine and metal flake look perfectly. Local body shops wanted over $1000 to do what I did for less than $50 and it looks darned good. I'm definitely a fan.
