To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2023 Cadillac STS, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. I bought the correct Crystal Red along with the high gloss clear, sanded it down, painted, and was more than satisfied with the results. I assumed that color would be a tough one to match but I was able to blend within the panel area and unless one knew I worked on it you would not be able to tell. A bit more polishing of the clear this weekend will further minimize my work. Very satisfied with the product!
