To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2019 Cadillac ELR, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. My wife's SRX rear fascia got scratched by someone's briefcase or something-through the clear so just polishing out the damage was not an option. I bought the correct Crystal Red along with the high gloss clear, sanded it down, painted, and was more than satisfied with the results. I assumed that color would be a tough one to match but I was able to blend within the panel area and unless one knew I worked on it you would not be able to tell. A bit more polishing of the clear this weekend will further minimize my work. Very satisfied with the product!

A lawn sprinkler fell off a rack in my garage and kissed the Eldorado on its way down, resulting in a dime-sized chip in the paint. I've owned the 1973 Caddy since 1988 and was told by the previous owner that it had been repainted at some time before that in the original color of Harvest Yellow.
