CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1981 Buick (All Models), we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1981 Buick (All Models) is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Michael S, owner of a 2003 Buick Regal

Comments from Michael M. Stein, Herndon, Virginia: Your spray-on touch-up paint was rather expensive ($27.95 including shipping), but was worth it since it provided a perfect match for my 2003 Buick Regal. The color of my car is GM 40 U (white), and the touch-up paint you sent exactly matched my existing paint. I sent you the paint test card which showed the color of your touch-up paint. I was very happy with your product.

Connie H, owner of a 2003 Buick Park Avenue from Tremonton, UT

My order came in a timely manner, and all items were as described.

James M, owner of a 2004 Buick Park Avenue from Toledo, OH

I purchased a spray Can of Very White Diamond Paint for my Buick and was totally satisfied and amazed at how perfectly it matched the original paint. I had to replace a door mirror on the driver door and the mirror I purchased was light brown and painted with your paint. The only person that knows it was replaced is myself. I just ordered another can to do some touch up.
