To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1965 Buick (All Models), we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. Beautiful, BEAUTIFUL matching. I think the most difficult thing about touching up, though, is the extreme difficulty in actually getting a linear scratch to fill-in naturally with paint. It always looks sort of messy after I do it. Still, this paint is gorgeous and much less than GMs touch up paint.
