CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2023 BMW M4, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The paint code can be located underneath the hood near the front strut tower, on the firewall, or the passenger side wheel housing. Click here for BMW paint code location chart and paint code label examples.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2023 BMW M4 is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Joseph McDermott, owner of a BMW from Princeton, NJ

I painted the engine bay of my car this past weekend with the ready to spray urethane paint from you guys and just wanted to thank you for an awesome product. I used the urethane primer, base (bmw steel grey metallic), and urethane clear and the paint looks gorgeous. I had to paint the engine bay myself since noone was willing to take such a small job - the rest of the paint work will be done by a professional shop after the engine is reinstalled.

William Bagby, owner of a BMW from Jonesboro, GA

I just wanted to follow-up and say that you deliver an AWESOME product. I (fortunately) did not have to use your paint when it arrived, but over the weekend, I accidently knocked a chunk of paint off of the side panel of my BMW motorcycle. I thought for sure that this would be a trip to the paint shop, but figured it was no loss to try and touch it up with your paint and see how it goes. The paint is the perfect viscosity - not thick and globby like most paints. Being thin and workable, I was able to layer the paint in three layers and completely fill the damaged area. The color match is perfect. After I finished the job, I realized that unless one is looking for the damaged area, they won't find it. As you can tell, I am impressed. Your product saved me what I thought would be a $300 trip to the paint shop.
